Nimans’ resellers have been brushing-up on their technical training skills to boost their knowledge about Panasonic’s NS700 comms system.
A four-day technical accreditation course was staged at Nimans’ Manchester headquarters to enable resellers to branch out into lucrative new areas of activity.
One Livingston-based dealer says he’s now got the confidence to develop a lucrative new area of business thanks to his new-found knowledge. “We were traditionally a cable installer but are now branching out into telephone systems. The course was very useful. I’m not from an engineering background but nothing went over my head. I’ve now got the confidence to go out and sell lots of these systems. It will have a huge impact on our business. There are lots of opportunities in the pipeline and we can hit the ground running thanks to Nimans.”
The in-depth course was designed for engineers with no prior knowledge of the NS700, and it proved a resounding success for a South-Wales based counterpart.
“We’re upgrading from older Panasonic systems to this new one and it’s a big leap forward for us. I had a vague knowledge before but nothing compared to now. It’s much more than just the basics to lead us forward.”
Nimans’ Head of System Sales, John McKindland, confirmed: “We’ve run similar courses before and the continued high attendance demonstrates resellers’ thirst for knowledge as the NS700 becomes a very powerful addition to their portfolios. The training sessions represent a perfect opportunity to learn how to harness the system’s many powerful features and we are here to support resellers every step of the way.”
The NS700 ‘smart hybrid’ solution is ideally suited to small and medium sized offices and call centre environments. Its built-in applications support the basic needs of supervisors, such as Position In Queue, Live Status Monitor, Activity Report and Automatic Conversation Recording.
