The comms specialist teamed up with manufacturer IDEAL Networks to showcase the latest network data cable test equipment at its Trafford Park Trade Counter in Manchester – with hands-on demonstrations and expert advice available.
Visitors were able to speak directly to IDEAL and Nimans infrastructure specialists about the importance of testing cable termination and installation – and understand the different methods available.
Demonstrations of the latest IDEAL Network testers including the LanTEK III LAN cable certifiers and new OTDR fibre fault finders were very well received.
One Manchester-based reseller confirmed afterwards: “It was very beneficial to see the equipment first hand and understand the intricacies from true experts in their field. Building knowledge and developing skills particularly around fibre is vital for us to give a good customer service. Technology continues to evolve and we need to keep pace. Fibre is the next big thing and if we don’t have the right equipment to do the job we let ourselves and our customers down and ultimately lose business.”
