Nimans Hits the Road with Updated Avaya IP Office

Nimans has announced a series of nationwide roadshows for dealers to learn about Avaya’s enhanced IP Office platform. Events take place at venues in the north and south of England and Scotland throughout September with the first being held on the 2nd in Guildford.

Visitors will discover all the features of the upcoming Avaya IP Office 4.2 software release, developed to make it easier for small and midsize businesses to improve communications, customer service and general efficiency thanks to new mobility offerings and enhancements to voice messaging. Developments include the use of one number for incoming and outgoing calls and improved mobile twinning where users can perform transfers and switch between held and conference calls.

There are now four sources of music on hold as well as various telephone handset improvements. Avaya is also launching a new ‘family’ of IP phones, the 1700 series which are designed to make IP telephony more attractive and cost effective.

In addition, the roadshows will also provide information about Avaya’s product roadmap and detail the latest promotions and finance available from Nimans.

Nimans’ Avaya Business Manager, Tim Freeth, says the enhancements will further boost the appeal of the IP Office platform and build on its award-winning reputation for innovative and reliable IP communications.

“The new version of Avaya’s IP Office delivers enhanced intelligent business applications, which provides growing companies with a complete solution for telephony, messaging, networking, conferencing, customer management and unified communications,” he points out. “Avaya’s latest upgrade represents another major step forward for what is a very popular and simple to use platform.”
