Nimans says it has been ‘bowled over’ by the channel response to its new partnership with pure IP PBX specialist Swyx. In the first two months orders are well above target as Nimans makes a flying start to its first foray into the software-based market.
“We’ve done a lot of ground work in the channel and it is already paying off,” confirmed Lynnette Smith, Swyx Business Manager at Nimans. “There’s been massive interest across the whole of the UK.”
Lynnette says resellers are quickly appreciating that the Swyx solution does not directly conflict with other brand platforms offered by Nimans, but adds a dynamic new dimension to their own product portfolios – allowing them to target a more diverse customer base.
“We have been very encouraged by the speed of uptake. There’s been a massive response especially to our sales and technical training. Additional courses are now being rolled out throughout the year. We are just going into month three and we have literally been swept off our feet, exceeding all expectations and the response is growing all the time. The initial launch events have given us a great platform to build on.”
Lynnette emphasised: “One of the key messages for us is that Swyx complements our overall system range. Although Swyx can be similar to some other brands, it sits comfortably within a dealer’s portfolio and allows them to reach out to more customers as each different platform has its own strengths.
