Nimans’ Mitel Incentive a Mini Success

Arthur McKay’s Network Services & Telephony Division proved it’s really motoring - by driving off with a brand new Mini Cooper in an incentive scheme devised by Nimans. The Edinburgh company showed it really was in the business fast lane when it secured the highest percentage sales over target among dealers in Nimans’ national Mitel reseller network.

Collecting the keys to the car on behalf of the company, Director Stuart McKay proclaimed he was immensely proud that Arthur McKay had beaten stiff competition to drive off with the £12,500 prize. “I am absolutely delighted,” he said. “We’re not sure exactly what we’ll do with the Mini yet but we’ll probably badge it up and use it as a promotional tool for Arthur McKay.”

He added that the launch of Mitel’s 3300 IP Communications Platform had helped the company win the incentive: “Mitel’s 3300 opened a lot of doors for us because it’s quite application based and is well suited to our clients who tend to be in the financial and professional services sectors. The ability for one port to support two applications is a big selling point as are the system’s resilience and hot desking capabilities.”

Nimans Mitel Business Manager Dawn Lill praised Arthur McKay for contributing to a significant sales surge secured by Nimans’ Mitel Business Unit which is forecasting year-on-year growth of at least 26 per cent. “It was a close run thing but Arthur McKay started with a good grid position and edged ahead to take the chequered flag! We’re really grateful for the efforts and support which Stuart and his colleagues have consistently provided throughout 2006 and are delighted to be able to present such a valuable prize to such a valued customer.”

The ‘Mini adventure’ crowns what Stuart McKay reports has been an “exciting year” for Arthur McKay which operates nationally and has 540 employees. Its Network Services & Telephony Division provides a wide range of networking, cabling and telecoms services, spanning voice, data and converged solutions.

The three runners up collecting performance car driving days with Palmer Sport were Converged Communications, Aberdeen; London Central Comms, Southwark; and Phoenix Phones, Hook.
