Distributor Nimans is planning aggressive growth in voice and data installation products as its dedicated business unit goes from strength to strength. Introduced in response to customer demand 12 months ago, sales are growing faster than many other areas of the business.
“The momentum is building and we are expecting even bigger leaps forward in 2009, going deeper into the data space,” confirmed Systems Sales Director, Phil Adams.
Installation Products Business Manager Dominique Wilson spearheads the division with Product Specialist Geoff Wilde, providing hundreds of different products, from sockets to the latest technology in Cat5 structured cabling, switches and 19” racking enclosures.
“We will undoubtedly continue to grow our portfolio across other vendors and other products,” Phil added. “A distributor is someone that reacts to demand in the market and when our resellers start to ask for data products we have got to react to that and make sure we can not only service but fully support that need from one user friendly environment.
“We are seeing sustained month-on-month growth based on good purchasing, excellent logistics and strong brand management. It’s a huge product range. We are working with major brands such as Hellermann Tyton and Netgear as well as growing names such as Fusion. I think we will see accelerated growth in 2009 as there is a lot of potential in this sector.”
