Nimans remember Julian with purple day

MSPs
Nimans showed its colourful side with a purple theme day to remember founder Julian Niman – and to raise hundreds of pounds for charity.

Julian was renowned as a colourful character and almost £700 was generated in his memory to support Epilepsy Action, a charity committed to a better life for everyone affected by the condition.

A purple-themed ‘shop’ with purple fruits, cakes and sweets was the main focal point of the event at the company’s Julian Niman House headquarters in Manchester.  A raffle was held too alongside a ‘How many sweets in the jar’ contest.

In addition a pair of tickets to watch Man Utd play was auctioned, to further swell the overall fundraising total – which was doubled by the company.

Great Manchester Run

Runners from across Nimans will also be pounding the streets of Manchester to raise funds for two worthy causes.

The company has put a team together to complete the Great Manchester Run on Sunday 19th May – with some of them posing for a group photo ahead of their training!

The runners are raising money for two chosen charities - The Christie & Children with Cancer - and they’re aiming to raise a £1,000 target.
