Mr. Tress’s appointment follows rapid growth at the unit which was only established last October but which has achieved such a strong sales performance that it won accreditation from Avaya in July for its strategically important Media Gateway range.
Mr Tress brings extensive experience to Nimans’ Avaya unit having joined from Central Telecom where he spent nine years supporting Avaya index systems, mostly as a Field Technician but also in an office based trouble shooting role.
“The Avaya Business Unit is relatively new but it’s growing all the time and the potential for Nimans is massive,” said Mr Tress, 30, explaining his decision to join the Manchester based distributor. His experience is likely to prove particularly useful to Nimans’ resellers following the company’s Media Gateway accreditation, given that the range allows end users to migrate from index to IP systems.
