Perkins spent 12 years at technology distributor Ingram Micro where he was promoted to Sales Director. He has also worked in finance and business planning and analysis roles before joining the distributors from Droitwich-based technical outsource specialist Qcom. James was employed as a Business Development Director and focused on pre and post sales services.
“My previous jobs have given me a good blend of looking after products and also customers,” said James who is a keen hockey player and golfer. He has a wife and two children and says he is keen to drive Nimans and Rocom further forward.
“I have a wealth of experience in distribution and service industries so it’s a perfect fit being here at Nimans and Rocom. I am looking forward to developing productive relationships with suppliers, staff and customers, identifying how we can enhance our offerings and business opportunities,” he explained.
Chairman Julian Niman confirmed: “James possesses all the attributes and qualities required to play a key role within the business. We are delighted to welcome him on board.”
