Nimans Take IP Success Route with Phybridge

Distributors
Nimans has teamed up with IP solution specialist Phybridge to help resellers take ‘the simple route’ to IP telephony adoption - by overcoming traditional barriers and complexities. Phybridge switch innovations have been certified with many leading IP telephony vendors including Aastra, Avaya, Broadsoft, Mitel, NEC and Siemens.

The innovative products deliver Ethernet and Power over Ethernet over a single pair of wire or CW1308 cabling with four times the reach of traditional POE switches. They are designed specifically to allow businesses to maximise their existing voice infrastructure and transform it into an IP path with power ideal for IP telephony.

Phybridge technology eliminates many of the local area network barriers and costs associated with IP telephony migration, according to Andy Winfield, Purchasing Director at Nimans. Quality of service, voice continuity, elimination of risk and disruption, a highly secure network and a lower total cost of ownership are some of the many benefits.

He emphasised: “Phybridge is a Canadian-based technology company dedicated to ‘practical innovation’. They bring solutions to market that are technologically advanced as well as practical in areas such as IP telephony, converged networks, unified comms and public safety. More than 500,000 users globally use Phybridge switches and we are delighted to be playing a frontline role in introducing their products to the UK market, such as their PoLRE (Power over Long Reach Ethernet) switch family, available for the first time.”

Viv Singh, Senior VP for Phybridge, is urging more resellers to embrace the new partnership. “We are very excited to partner with Nimans and confident we are able to help channel partners provide a quick and cost effective migration path from TDM to IP telephony, and with less disruption. For many years the industry was looking for a better way to migrate customers and now with this new partnership we are able to offer that unique solution. Phybridge technology has successfully been deployed throughout Europe including embassies for one of the largest governments in the world. The launch of the PoLRE solution will help fuel further general interest and demand from EMEA customers and channel partners.”
