Nimans has turned up the heat on its rivals and is primed for further growth after Siemens' recent decision to adopt a pure distribution model involving Nimans and three other players.
"This massive order illustrates how we continue to build the strongest foundations in the channel to raise the bar even higher in terms of customer service and stock levels," said Chairman Julian Niman. "As part of the order Nimans will be the only distributor with HiPath DXR in stock from October 1st. This will be of particular interest to those partners who focus on the enterprise market."
Nimans has laughed off suggestions from a rival distributor that it (not Nimans) was the first to set-up a three tier advisory council involving distributor, resellers and manufacturer. "This was something we openly discussed at our Tier 1 partner event in July and is an initiative we are actively moving forward with," confirmed Nimans' Systems Sales Director, Phil Adams. "For one of our rivals to claim this as their industry first is misleading and not true."
He added: "Nimans always works closely with its customers and suppliers to forge excellent working relationships and our own partner forum will be on-going on a quarterly basis, fully supported by Siemens."
