The 448-page Summer 08 edition is packed with thousands of lines and includes products from pure IP PBX specialist Swyx for the first time. Nimans’ trade catalogue is known throughout the industry as ‘The Bible’ such is its long standing reputation for being the most comprehensive reference tool on the market.
As well as the Swyx portfolio, the new Polycom SoundStation IP 7000, described as the world’s most advanced SIP conference phone, is another main highlight.
Chairman Julian Nimans explained: “With so many new products and industry developments we now feel our customers will be better served by two editions each year instead of the previous one. The catalogue is the perfect reference tool for the telecoms reseller, putting all the information they need at their fingertips. It features over 4,000 products from systems to data installation and cabling.”
For the first time Nimans has included a user-friendly ‘jargon buster’ explaining in detail the sometimes complex terms and acronyms used throughout the industry - some a dealer will be familiar with, but others they may not. A further catalogue is planned for November.
