Nimans Welcomes New Avaya Business Manager

Comms distributor Nimans has bolstered its Avaya systems team by appointing Richard Burrage as Avaya Business Manager.

Burrage boasts around 20 years sales experience in the communications industry and works alongside Director of Avaya, Technical Support and Services, Phil Adams. He replaces Tim Freeth who has moved to work directly for Avaya.

He began his career with GEC Plessey before moving to other leading industry names such as Cable and Wireless and NexteraOne. For the last 18 months he has been working as a consultant, specialising in the call centre market.

“I see this role as an ideal fit. I’ve been involved from both sides of the fence, as a reseller and equipment supplier so I understand a dealer’s needs and requirements very well. I’ve worked with Avaya products in the past and it’s great to be here at Nimans at such an interesting and dynamic time. We’ve just gained access to the full Avaya data portfolio and I’m looking forward to helping business partners grow their operations from SMB through to enterprise markets.

“As a 100% reseller focussed company, Nimans consistently raises the bar in terms of award-winning expert service, from pre and post sales support to technical expertise and world class logistics.”
