Following record half year results for Nine Telecom and July billing marking the most successful month in the company’s history, Nine Telecom staff celebrated in style in Royal Tunbridge Wells.
Nine have quarterly staff events to thank the team for all their hard work and dedication, but this event was bigger than most. Nikki Potter, Customer Services Manager, commented “It was Operations’ turn to organise the event, so we chose a treasure hunt theme and held it in Tunbridge Wells, followed by dinner and VIP treatment in the Beluga nightclub. We had five teams from different departments across the business, with Team Hiley taking the spoils & the shots!”
Matthew Lambert, MD of Nine Telecom, commented, “we have a really dedicated and motivated team of professionals at Nine Telecom and morale is at an all time high, due to the record results we have posted. The teams have been open to the changes needed to ensure success moving forward and I was delighted to see so many of the staff get their just rewards for a job well done.”
Nine Telecom has an enlightened HR policy on staff welfare and their industry beating staff retention is testimony to this approach. In all three offices across the group, staff are treated to free lunches and mobile phones. The quarterly staff events involve all members of the team and by letting each department choose the theme, it gets real awareness from start to finish.
