Nine Telecom Expand Their Team

Nine Telecom have added two senior Business Development Managers to their team.

Alun Knight will be covering the South West and Wales and Amanda Evans will be covering the South East and South coast. Together Nine Telecom says they bring a wealth of knowledge and experience and Matthew Lambert, Nine Telecom MD commented: “We have had a fantastic start to 2010 and these two new senior roles have been necessary to cope with the demand.

Our industry leading proposition, coupled with our generous margin split commission across the entire portfolio has resulted in us recruiting over 50 new dealers since the start of the and we needed the right people in the right place.”

Alun’s career to date boasts 12 years in Telecoms industry working for companies such as NTL, Energis, Project Telecom, Symphony and Redstone before it became Daisy through acquisition in 2009. He cut his teeth in both the residential and B2B markets before becoming a Dealer Manager with Symphony and Project Telecom, covering Wales and the South West and latterly Redstone and Daisy in the same region.

Alun has retained the same customers and dealers throughout his career in the channel and they remain loyal to him due to the uncompromising levels of service and support he provides. Alun has seen some immediate success in this geography which is testament to his dealer loyalty.

Amanda Evans started her career with Crane which became Westcon Convergence and spent six years progressing to the role of business development manager for systems such as Avaya, Samsung and LG. During this time Amanda developed strong back office skills from credit control through to logistics before moving to Inclarity to develop her skills within the Hosted IPT Market.

After a year with Inclarity she moved into a channel sales role with Redstone/Daisy to fully understand the process from all perspectives, resulting in valuable experience across both direct and indirect sales models within traditional and hosted environments. Amanda joins Nine Telecom to develop a strong dealer base in the South East & South Coast with a special focus on Nine’s hosted PBX offering – micall.
