Node4 has launched Unified Office, a Cloud-based collaboration platform using Microsoft Lync and Microsoft Exchange. The new service, delivered across Node4’s N4Cloud infrastructure, brings together email, instant messaging, voice and video facilities across all devices.
Housed in one of Node4’s four highly secure regional Data Centres, Unified Office is a fully managed service, which is supported by a team of specialist Cloud engineers. This includes everything from setting up new users to dealing with any user-based or technical issues as well as maintaining the service and running any necessary updates. Using an OPEX pricing model, the service provides an enterprise grade solution without high capital investment.
Natalie Stewart, Product Manager at Node4, commented: “SMEs are increasingly ahead of the curve when it comes to how they approach their IT infrastructure. They are demanding technology that will fully support more flexible working practices and rapid business growth. By offering a Cloud-based-collaboration tool like Unified Office we are giving SMEs the scalability and flexibility they really need to continue to grow and succeed.”
