London Web, the online business service provider, today announced availability of a new email delivery software solution for SMEs and enterprises. Available now, NotifySync 4.7 provides an enhanced set of features to improve business mobility across BlackBerry devices in a cost effective manner.

London Web is the exclusive UK and Eire distributor for Notify Technology Corp, the developers of NotifySync (MS licensed ActiveSync for BlackBerry devices). NotifySync is a small downloadable client application that will allow a BlackBerry to fully synchronise against any ActiveSync capable email server. The list of platforms includes Axigen, CommuniGate Pro, Exchange (2003 - 2010), Google, Ipswitch IMail, Kerio, Scalix, and Zimbra. NotifySync works over a TCP, BIS, BES or Wifi connection.

Some of the highlighted enhanced features of NotifySync 4.7 include: HTML email; Full Email Folder Sync; Auto spell check; "Direct push" or "scheduled push" connection (with out of hours schedules) when connecting any BlackBerry to the user’s email platform; Full Sync of all email, calendar, contact, tasks and memos (where supported by email platform); Security features, including Email-At-Rest encryption and remote wipe; Full compatibility alongside BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

NotifySync 4.7 requires the user to download a small client application onto their BlackBerry devices. The process is completed in less than two minutes and can be configured in less than ten minutes.

Jamie Easterman, managing director at London Web, said: “Our enterprise and SME customers want a mobile email solution that is cost effective, flexible and available on a choice of devices and email platforms for discerning executives. Many organisations have asked for a wireless mobility solution that directly connects to their email platform which supports Microsoft ActiveSync Protocols over the air. NotifySync 4.7 is the latest evolution in a successful product portfolio and it provides organisations of all sizes secure, real time, wireless synchronisation of email and PIM to and from any BlackBerry.”

As the first fully Microsoft licensed and most secure ActiveSync for BlackBerry solution available on the market today, it is fully approved by the UK Government’s Connecting for Health initiative, which was designed to deliver better, safer care to patients, by bringing in new computer systems and services across the NHS. To date, NotifySync has been fundamental in enabling BlackBerry devices to be connected to the new National NHS email system which currently only supports Microsoft ActiveSync protocols for over the air mobile synchronisation.

Ilona Mcmullan, accelerator partner manager at O2, commented: “London Web has a solution with NotifySync that is key in helping us meet our strategy of bringing the top mobile solutions to our Public Sector customers. The solution has increased the value we can offer customers and extended the devices on offer.”
