O-bit help GW Telecom to contract with the Autism Society

Telecoms distributor O-bit Telecom has expanded its portfolio with the launch of mobile and whilst in its beta launch helped its trial reseller, GW Telecom, secure the ‘Autism Society’.

Adam Nawaz, Managing Director of Gateway Telecom, explained: “I have been working with O-bit for a number of years now and their new mobile offering is a perfect fit for our company.

“Expanding into mobile allows us to go to our clients with a comprehensive communications package, offering a one bill and one point of contact solution for our clients.

“This ensures running their communication requirements is easy to deploy and simple to manage. In short, it becomes exactly what they want.”

He added: “Despite O-bit still being in the trial stage of the launch they were able to assist me in building the proposal, consulting my client and ultimately signing the deal for a 70 handset opportunity with the Autism Society. We couldn’t be more pleased.”

O-bit officially launched its mobile offering on 3rd October 2011, partnering with O2 to take a flexible white label solution to the market.

O-bit’s Sales and Marketing Director, Elizabeth Sparrow, commented: “With the launch of any new service comes a lot of work; white boarding, education and marketing, so to see such an early success is very encouraging.

“It also demonstrates to the channel that we have the right solution and the right support tools to help resellers launch mobile into their own customer base.

“Mobile offers a wonderful opportunity to all resellers of calls and lines; it is a complimentary solution which enables them to offer a one bill solution and opens doors to creative promotions.”
