With O2 Your Country Pay & Go, customers pay just £4.99 for a SIM and can then make calls abroad from a free bundle of call time, subject to monthly top up.
When customers top up, as well as their top-up credit they get a free bundle of international minutes to call any mobile, or standard landline in the world from the UK.
For a monthly top up of £10, customers receive 50 free international minutes. For a £15 top up they get 100 free international minutes and for a £30 top up they get 200 free minutes to call any international mobile or standard international landline. Once the free bundle has been used up, they can call any number abroad for O2’s discounted international rates, for example calls to Europe for just 7p per minute or 30p to a mobile from their top-up credit.
Sally Cowdry, Marketing Director at O2 UK said: “Many customers told us they wanted to be able to call abroad from the UK cheaply and easily to wherever their friends and family are in the world. So, as you can expect from O2, we have devised a way for them to do that and we are now the only network to offer prepay customer bundles of free calls to international numbers.”
