Oak Telecom Opens Centre of Excellence

Oak Telecom has opened a new training facility, ‘The Oak Centre of Excellence’, in Peterborough as part of the vendors plans to deliver a new accreditation scheme.

Speaking exclusively to Comms Business Magazine, Phillip Reynolds, joint CEO at Oak Telecom said, “The communications market is very dynamic and with the constant flow of new products, enhancements and software developments from Oak Telecom the role that training plays in making the channel successful is increasingly crucial. Our investment in new facilities – separate from our Poole, Dorset HQ - will be seen as a further commitment by Oak Telecom to support channel partners achieve profitable incremental sales with all of our principal product lines – CTI, Call Recording, Call Management and Voice Processing.”

Stephen Boakes, Training Manager at Oak Telecom commented, “The new Centre of Excellence has more than a dozen PX systems installed so that resellers can see the seamless interoperability between our products and the PBX systems they sell. This includes systems from Nortel, Siemens, Avaya, Cisco, Panasonic and Alcatel. The central location of the new centre will be key for many resellers looking to minimise their travelling time.”
