OneCom Makes Top 100

OneCom is placed 59th on the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 league table, released yesterday.

The ranking is a remarkable achievement for the rapidly-expanding company, which was created last year by the merger of Premier Telecom and Business Phones Direct and has since made several acquisitions and created dozens of new jobs.

OneCom, which has a turnover in excess of £40million and handles more than 225,000 mobile phone connections, continues to grow and is currently recruiting for 30 new sales staff.

The Tech Track 100 charts those privately owned technology businesses with the fastest-growing sales over the last three years.

Darren Ridge, Chief Executive, comments: “This has been an incredible year for OneCom. We have been named Vodafone Platinum Partner of the Year for the fourth year running and secured several high-value contracts contributing to over £20m worth of business, delivering our best ever six months’ trading.

“Onecom will continue to grow. As a business we remain dedicated to providing superb customer service to all of our customers old and new, whilst maintaining a clear focus on our Unified Communication solutions, which combine and manage fixed line telephone services, mobile phone and internet access in one comprehensive package.”

OneCom is the country’s largest independent business-to-business mobile phone provider.

The company has a reputation for rewarding and investing in its staff giving away £150,000 in bonuses to team members after the firm was named Vodafone’s Platinum Partner of the Year this summer.

Darren Ridge concludes: “Our listing in the Tech Track 100 is a great tribute to the hard work of everyone who works for OneCom.”
