Distributor Avenir Telecom has announced a brand new fixed-line business broadband package in conjunction with Opal. The partnership with Avenir marks the first time Opal has ever partnered with a B2B-only airtime distributor.
Avenir’s dealer base can now roll out Opal’s ‘Premium Grade’ broadband service for business, providing speeds of up to 24Mb downstream (and 1Mb upstream as standard), a 100Gb usage allowance and guaranteed priority bandwidth for business traffic. Each new installation also includes a business-grade router (RRP £129.99) with security license and static IP address. Seven bolt-ons or ‘builders’ are also available to the new ‘Premium Grade’ broadband service, designed to offer extra value to users of all shapes and sizes.
The product has the advantage of operating across Opal’s Next Generation Network (NGN), which has more than 1.4 million existing broadband connections.
