Opal’s Andy Hollingworth with VIP invite

Andy Hollingworth, Director of Wholesale at Opal has extended an open invite to all resellers attending the Convergence Summit South this week (5/6th October) to join him and his team in the Opal sponsored VIP Lounge.

Recently Opal have seen the launch of Assured Rates and Annex M on ADSL2+ broadband, L2TP Carrier Ethernet and wires only or fully managed IPVPN plus soon to be released, EFM. As one of the largest Ethernet providers in the UK - recently passing the 1,000 Ethernet exchange milestone which is set to grow to 1,500 by the end of the year, they have also recently launched an end-to-end managed Voice over Ethernet proposition – a true alternative to ISDN30. And as the only UK operator with approved SIP Trunk inter-operability for the Avaya Communications Manager system (and others) you know you’re in safe hands.

This month, Opal will be launching a future proofed, Business Grade Broadband. A voice-ready converged solution with fast fix and embedded technologies such as QoS allowing the channel and its customers to run multiple services such as voice, video and other media simultaneously over a single Broadband connection without having to compromise on quality.

Hollingworth said “Opal are really excited about our proposition and The Convergence Summit South is the perfect place to meet face to face with our existing partners and new prospective partners who see the value in what Opal can offer them. Our sponsorship of The VIP lounge this year is demonstrative of our commitment to our Channel Partners although we see all visitors to the event as VIP’s. We are at the show to discuss how we can help reseller businesses thrive in what is a very competitive environment and all are welcome to drop by the VIP lounge for a chat”.
