Since the 2005 Awards, Opera Telecom has climbed the list, now ranking at number 32. In 2005, Opera Telecom was ranked at number 37 and it was one of five companies that received a Media Momentum Star Award for its exceptional growth and management. In this year’s Top 50, Opera Telecom was ranked at number 32 which reflects its ongoing business expansion on a global basis.
Opera Telecom works with media companies such as GMTV, ITV, Mersey TV, Endemol and Virgin Mobile, providing a range of international mobile services including content, infrastructure, billing and campaign management. Through its core technology platform, Dragon – an advanced, self-service mobile platform - customers can create and launch complex IVR, SMS and MMS marketing campaigns, and set up and tailor their own mobile services. By using a self-service provisioning platform that can be used by anyone, organisations can rapidly introduce, test and modify a wide range of services at a fraction of the cost of third party-led campaigns.
