Opus Takes Unify back to School

Unified Comms
Unify and its accredited partner Opus Team have been selected to upgrade Helena Romanes School’s entire communication infrastructure. OpenScape Business, implemented to all end users across the entire 35-acre campus, will transform the way that over 200 staff members work and communicate, whilst also driving cost savings and efficiencies for the secondary education provider.

Helena Romanes School believes that a large part of being able to provide great education outcomes lies in the teacher’s ability to communicate effectively – not only with students, but also with parents and peers. It therefore required a communications infrastructure that could meet the demands of a modern education provider.

Liz Evans-Barlow, Business Manager at Helena Romanes School, comments “We have a long-standing relationship with Opus and we inherently trust their advice. Working with them, and selecting Unify’s OpenScape Business, has enabled the school to reach its goals of communication technology transformation, future proofing and cost savings. The solution is delivering efficiencies, an enhanced more resilient service and is even enabling us to ensure that we are ahead of the curve with compliance.”

OpenScape Business delivers UC to Helena Romanes School. It can however also deliver web collaboration, presence, mobility and seamless integration into office applications while being scalable and flexible – making it a future proof solution for the institution.

Matt Boyce, Sales Manager at Opus, adds: “It is imperative for schools to be able to provide seamless communications experiences between parents and teachers and also amongst teachers themselves. In fact, it is critical to being able to deliver excellent education. At the same time, school budgets are being squeezed so technologies need to be excellent but efficient. Selecting Unify OpenScape Business for the Helena Romanes School was the obvious choice. It enables the school to provide a great communications experience staff while also, due to its IP-based UC, does not require a high amount of upfront investment – ensuring cost savings are maintained. We are excited to continue to help Helena Romanes School on its ongoing communications innovation journey.”

Tony Smith, UK&I Channel Sales Director at Unify, adds: “Alongside our Professional Partner Opus Team we have been able to deliver a robust and future proof communications infrastructure to Helena Romanes School, one of a number of secondary education institutions that are realising the benefits of this. OpenScape Business can deliver the cost savings, resilience, flexibility and scalability to support the demands of a modern education system, all while helping staff to realise their desire to find new ways to work.”
