Orange launches new small business tariffs

Orange has launched a new range of mobile plans designed to make life easier for small and medium businesses by letting them personalise their plans to cope with the everyday challenges of running a business.

Orange is responding to customers who want flexibility to keep pace with the fast moving nature of their business and may need to make changes depending on their focus that month.

The new plans will be supported by a simple four step process to help customers to choose a plan that really meets their needs, as well as the freedom to personalise the services to their requirements.

Step 1: Choose a ‘talk benefit’ from unlimited landline calls or unlimited Orange to Orange calls; Step 2: Choose a core business plan depending on the number of users and the amount of time they expect to spend making calls (Business SIM Only, Business Solo or Business Sense); Step 3: Choose one extra benefit from a range including email, 1GB internet browsing, extra texts, international calling and calling while abroad, which can be swapped on a monthly basis; Step 4: In addition, customers can purchase add-ons, including Orange World for Business data bundles, BlackBerry Internet Service, BES Express, and MMS bundles to make sure they always have access to the services they need most.

“Being quick and versatile is at the heart of many successful small and medium businesses. Our new plans reflect that there are times when it is helpful for businesses to be able to increase or decrease their mobile facilities, such as when changing employee numbers, customer demand or market conditions. The new range of plans give businesses the flexibility to choose what services they need, how long they need it for and how much they want to pay, in order to help them to better manage their cash flow and be successful,” said Martin Lyne, director for small and medium business at Orange UK.

Business Solo and Business Solo Unlimited are designed for single users and ideal for start-ups and entrepreneurs. Orange is also launching a new £25 plan to ensure all start-ups, however small, get access to business communication services whilst also making the costs even more transparent by removing minimum call charges.

Business SIM Only gives users all the benefits associated with being an Orange customer without the need to commit to a longer contract by providing customers with a 30-day rolling contract. In addition to the talk benefit and extra flexible benefit, customers can also take advantage of the chargeable add-ons available to Business Solo and Business Solo Unlimited customers.

Business Sense is perfect for growing businesses who wish to manage their mobile usage as the plan allows customers to share minutes and other benefits across a group of users on one account. Customers can choose from benefits and share them across the group or apply them to individual users only. The maximum sharer allowance is being removed to make it easier for business customers to grow their mobile communications alongside their business without having to worry about changing plans.

To continue to make business life a little more straightforward, from 4 May Orange is also introducing a one month free trial of Huddle’s award-winning project management and document sharing service and 15 per cent off the subscription price for life to all new and existing Business Everywhere plan customers.
