Orange makes it easier for business to stay in touch

Orange has announced an update to its small and medium business customer plans to provide even better value for money and greater flexibility. Added benefits, including extra cost savings and unlimited calls to nominated numbers will be available on Orange Business Sense, Business Solo and Business SIM only tariffs.

Business Sense customers joining on a 24 month contract will get unlimited Orange to Orange calls as well as the opportunity to choose from unlimited calls to ten nominated landline numbers (subject to fair usage policy), 1000 texts per month, or 1000 minutes of International calls per month.

Business Solo customers joining on an 18 or 24 month plan will get more inclusive minutes as well as the choice of one extra benefit, which include unlimited email with BlackBerry Internet Service or unlimited landline calls (both subject to fair usage policy). The 24 month plan also gives customers an extra 50% minutes. Customers who buy direct from Orange will also receive 200 extra texts per month.

Business SIM Only customers joining will get an increase in inclusive minutes, and all Business SIM Only plans include unlimited Orange to Orange calls and unlimited calls to five nominated landline numbers (subject to fair usage policy). At the moment lots of businesses need to give their employees a phone to do their work, but worry about signing them up to a long term mobile contract due to flexible staffing needs. The fact that the SIM only option enables users to carry on using their existing devices without the need to sign a new contract eliminates this worry.

Recent research from Orange showed that businesses with two to15 employees call ten landline numbers up to 80% of the time and those with more than 20 workers call their top ten landline numbers nearly 60% of the time. With the added benefit of unlimited calls to your top ten (Business Sense) and five (SIM Only) landline numbers of choice, the cost savings to be made by businesses suddenly become apparent as these regularly called landlines can form part of a customer’s nominated landline numbers.

Said Martin Lyne, director of small and medium business, at Orange UK: “Small and medium businesses have a close group of regular contacts including suppliers, colleagues and customers who are a vital part of their day to day business. Our mobile plans will help businesses keep in touch with their close contacts in the way they want without having to worry about costs.

“Our business tariffs aim to take the headache out of choosing a contract by offering a more flexible contract which is both easy to understand and tailor as well as offering great value for money. We’ve also added a replacement service for faulty handsets, which aims to get a replacement phone to the customer within 24 hours, for all business customers on our Business Sense and Business Solo plans ensuring there is absolutely no disruption to the running of their business,” he continued.
