Outsourcery to offer free business email to SMEs

In the new digital era when businesses are expected to be ‘always on, always connected’ business communication solutions, such as Hosted Exchange, are enabling companies to respond to their customers requests in real-time.

Business communications are being revolutionised by cloud computing firm Outsourcery, which has become the first company in the UK to offer free email to organisations. Outsourcery is empowering businesses with the same advanced tools as big corporations by supplying start-ups and SMEs with mission-critical tools (such as calendars and tasks) free for up to twelve months when signing up for another Outsourcery hosted service. By allowing these companies access to the security offered by their £10 million data centre - previously the preserve of large corporations with six-figure IT budgets - they are transforming the market. In this way businesses are able to benefit from a professional email system without the significant capital expenditure related to in-house implementation.

With the recession leading to more people setting up their own businesses than ever before, according to recent research from the British Banker’s Association (BBA), the demand for business communication tools which help them to be more professional is growing.

As more and more companies are keen to present a corporate image as they attempt to survive and grow in the tough market, this powerful communication tool will allow businesses to use the latest technology to assist their growth and compete with their larger rivals. It also removes the need for organisations to host in-house Exchange Servers while enhancing productivity by streamlining communications and collaboration at the same time.

Outsourcery customer, Reid Furniture, for instance, discovered that they could also avoid the capital expenditure and hassle of having to buy, install and configure a server and realised savings of £20k in the first year by upgrading to Hosted Exchange email.

In addition to free business email, Outsourcery is also offering businesses four months free access to Microsoft’s latest business communications service, Office Communicator (Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007). Office Communicator allows businesses of any size to communicate and collaborate more efficiently and key to this is the ‘presence’ feature which ‘looks’ into your Outlook calendar and clearly shows team members’ availability, thereby enabling staff to work more effectively. The biggest benefit is the reduction in wasted phone calls, which saves time, money and ultimately drives greater efficiency.

“Outsourcery is continuing to meet its objectives of delivering innovative technology and helping businesses reduce their costs while improving efficiency and productivity,” said Piers Linney, joint CEO for Outsourcery. “With large numbers of employees now working away from the office, businesses are finding they need more effective ways to stay in touch with their colleagues and clients. Through our hosted free offerings we are bringing professional standard business tools within the reach of all businesses.”
