Overline Network Consultants Win Council Contracts

MSPs
Overline Network Consultants have been awarded the contract for Adur & Worthing Councils to provide a new private hosted telephone system and associated services.

Local company, Overline, will soon be installing the new hosted telephone system that will service almost 700 of the Councils’ employees. The new system will revolutionise the way Adur & Worthing Councils’ staff communicate, replacing their physical telephones with a cloud based ‘soft phone’ system. This means that council employees will now have all of their office phone functionality available on their PC, laptop, tablet and smartphone devices, enabling them to work more flexibly and efficiently in or out of the office.

The contract builds on Overline’s experience of providing bespoke telecommunication solutions to large local organisations such as Shoreham Port Authority, The Queen Alexandra Hospital and The Amex stadium.

Overline Director, Jason Young said ‘We are delighted to be awarded this prestigious contract and it’s fantastic to see Adur & Worthing Councils working with cutting edge technology provided by a local company.’

Councillor Neil Parkin, Leader of Adur District Council adds “Overline have provided the Councils a very clever and cost effective telecommunications service that will support our staff in providing the Council’s services all over the district.”

Councillor Daniel Humphreys, Leader of Worthing Borough Council said “I am delighted to announce this partnership with Overline, one of many exciting tech businesses in Worthing. They have delivered an innovative communications system, to complement the many other digital and communication tools we have recently invested in, to serve our residents.”
