Pama fuels need for high speed motorbike comms

Mobile communications specialist Pama has unveiled the latest in its portfolio of Bluetooth technology with the launch of Cardo’s flagship motorcycle product, the Scala Rider G4.

Providing streamlined communications at high speeds, the G4 is the natural choice for motorbike enthusiasts. Encased in a rugged yet streamlined body, the G4 facilitates mobile phone, FM radio, sat nav and iPod/MP3 player usage via the fixed-unit helmet attachment, while the range of its bike to bike intercom breaks the one mile barrier.

Targeted at members of the biking community, including enthusiasts, speed racers and couriers, the G4 features a unique four-way intercom between two bikers and two passengers or a three-way intercom among three separate bikers.

Priority management connection means there is no need to disconnect from the intercom or music to receive incoming phone calls or GPS instructions with a quality so high it is hard to distinguish between static phone calls.

Attached in minutes, the G4 unit enables high quality audio connection, while the components are streamlined to maximise comfort and minimise any interference with the job in hand; riding.

Reviews from biking enthusiasts have described the G4 as: “A high class piece of kit that can be used by all types of motorcyclists.” One motorbike expert stated: “I am thoroughly impressed with the ease of use and quality of the G4. It is totally worth the price tag and the quality of it will mean it will last for many years.” RRP £239.95.
