Panasonic Sales Sizzle At Nimans

Distributor Nimans is reporting red-hot sales of Panasonic’s NCP communications platform which are up 70% compared to 12 months ago. The distributor is enjoying particular success at the SME end of the market, where they say the NCP’s flexible functionality is paying particular dividends.

Nimans’ new Panasonic Business Manager Sam Giggle says the NCP (Network Communication Platform) is now firmly established as a versatile system, either as a full UC solution or a more straightforward digital platform.

“Since its launch about two years ago the NCP has become our best-selling Panasonic system. In the first six months of this year, like-for-like sales have rocketed by 70%. It is easy to install and maintain and enables businesses to effectively reach, serve and retain their own customers,” he pointed out.

In addition to the high system sales, interest is also growing in Panasonic IP CCTV as more dealers take advantage of additional ‘bolt –on’ revenue – following a series of popular Nimans training courses.

“Panasonic is recognised as a global leader in IP CCTV manufacturer, providing solutions which are either standalone or system-based,” says Sam.

“IP CCTV is a growing area of the market for us as resellers discover how they can effectively expand and accelerate their sales potential from their existing bases,” he confirmed. “Adding IP CCTV as an end point – and other technologies such as video conferencing and interactive white boards - enables them to sell more overall solutions and boost revenue from existing customers. In these challenging economic times where sales are often harder to find, it’s no surprise that momentum is building on an almost daily basis – as these products represent a very productive way forward.”
