Partner Engagement Sees NEC Solutions Showcase Achieve 50 per cent Growth

NEC Display Solutions, a provider of commercial LCD displays and projector solutions, has announced that this year’s NEC Solutions Showcase event saw a greater than 50 per cent growth on the same event last year. The growth rate was credited to increased engagement from partners who demonstrated that integration is the key to providing innovative, ground-breaking solutions across the industry.

The Showcase event, which this year took place on April 25th at London’s O2 Arena, saw more than 850 visitors experience demonstrations of real-life scenarios showcasing end-to-end solutions from 47 partner companies. Each partner company delivered a best-in-class offering in their own individual field, to demonstrate how collaborative, innovative solutions are driving the wheels of industry today.

Two new zones at the event, focused on innovative retail and transport solutions, drew particular attention from visitors, while the Digital out of Home (DOOH) and Professional Office solutions demonstrations also proved popular.

Simon Jackson, VP NEC Display Solutions UK said that the popularity of the event would ensure that even more innovation will be on display at NEC Solutions Showcase 2013:

“Thinking ahead to next year we will again be focused on getting the end users to see for themselves what’s new in their sector, and we already have plans to introduce one or two new zones as we see the market developing. The key is to remain focused on each vertical sector so we provide real depth and make the show much more experiential.

“Of course, we’re delighted with the attendance at this year’s event, and we strongly feel that a 50 per cent growth rate on last year reflects how the Showcase’s unique nature has provided a compelling medium for growth within the displays industry. More than half of Showcase attendees this year were end-users, many of whom represented blue-chip organisations. We feel that the event has played a key role in strengthening many of our relationships with existing partners, while some of the solutions on display have already inspired some large corporate companies we’ve spoken to and prompted even further partner engagement.”

Damon Crowhurst, Senior Director at Scala, whose solutions were on show at the event, agreed that the event had been a success:

“We were once again really impressed with the event and the end user contacts simply get better year on year. It generated some excellent leads and has helped us to strengthen our existing relationship with NEC Display Solutions as a result.”
