“The day was hugely successful,” said Belinda McGee, Marketing Manager. “We had some really positive feedback from delegates who appreciated the wealth of information available and the ability to tour the technology fair in small groups.”
The day started with presentations on Avaya, which is at the forefront of data convergence ¬ linking computer and internet technology with telephony ¬ and Motorola¹s Canopy system which provides wireless broadband over a wide area.
Following the presentations small workgroups toured the technology fair to see live demonstrations of Avaya’s IP Office and Canopy.
The Canopy demonstration impressed delegates who were able to watch live CCTV footage transmitted from Pennine’s office in Conwy, on the other side of the estuary.
Also exhibiting at the technology fair were T-Mobile, Vaioni bonded broadband, Riello Galatrek UPS, Interquartz , MWL computer solutions and Panasonic PBX.
