Polycom and Videocall Announce Partnership

Polycom, the provider of telepresence, video and voice communication solutions and Videocall, a telepresence and video collaboration managed service provider, have announced a partnership to enhance the service provided to customers and enable growth of telepresence and unified communication solutions within enterprises.

Unified Communications is no longer a luxury; it is fast becoming a business critical standard. As part of its ongoing UC strategy, Videocall continues to develop a set of tools to enable organisations to integrate their telepresence and videoconferencing deployment with their core corporate applications, therefore increasing ROI while also enabling a better collaboration environment.

The partnership successfully combines Polycom’s industry leading telepresence solutions with Videocall’s renowned global managed service offerings to provide world class telepresence experience to customers.

Videocall’s UK based VNOC (Video Network Operations Centre) has provided meeting management services to customers’ telepresence deployments for more than five years. Polycom certified Videocall to manage its range of world leading immersive telepresence solutions including Polycom RealPresenceTM Experience (RPX), and Polycom Telepresence Experience, in addition to a collaborative support structure that allows customers to access experts from both Polycom and Videocall.

“By combining our professional integrated services with Polycom’s leading telepresence solutions, we are able to empower our customers by increasing their staff productivity and maximising their return on investment,” said Rob Portwood, chief executive officer at Videocall
