Pragma has recently announced a new partnership with Ascom which will see them supply Ascom’s VoWiFi products, with the company initially focussing on Ascom’s i62 WiFi phone.
Andy Herring, Product Marketing Manager at Pragma commented: “The opportunity to work with Ascom and be one of a very small number of distributors along with access to market-leading technology was something that really excited us. Of the distributors appointed by Ascom we are the specialists in voice and UC and we see huge potential with their portfolio to drive mutual opportunity with our reseller channel.”
Julian Burkhill, Technical Director at BDR Telecom, a leading Pragma Reseller commented: “This is great news for us. ASCOM are a real leader in wireless voice technology and we have been aware of the i62 for some time now. To know that this has been officially tested and approved to work on the UCP and eMG80 platforms by Ericsson-LG gives us the confidence that we need to be able to add the i62 to our proposals.”
Paul Lawrence, Managing Director at Ascom UK said: “As industry specialists with a reputation for voice and UC, Pragma understands distribution, resellers and vitally for us – the need to stay ahead of changes in technology. As such, this is a strategic partnership that will help us to position our products in front of ever more customers, so we look forward to working closely with Pragma moving forwards.”
