ProLion announces channel drive

Ransomware and data protection solution provider ProLion has announced that it is recruiting channel partners in the UK.

The company, headquartered in Austria with offices in the UK, Germany, France, Netherlands and USA, develops software solutions for ONTAP focused storage environments and high-availability solutions for SAP and MetroCluster environments.

It describes its core solution, CryptoSpike, as a ‘best-in-class’ security and data governance solution for the data centre which eliminates system downtime and data loss risks. Currently it has 450+ customers across retail, finance, telco, healthcare and manufacturing.

“As a 100 per cent channel-driven company, ProLion sells its solutions exclusively through a highly selective network of value-added resellers and managed service providers that have an ONTAP storage focus and the technical skills necessary to deliver IT solutions for the modern data centre to mid-size and enterprise organisations,” said Steve Arlin, ProLion VP sales UK, Americas & APAC.

Following an increased demand for ransomware solutions due to data breaches and security concerns, the initiative aims to drive the company’s growth across Europe and North America. Arlin said that ProLion’s growth targets are ambitious, and that the company is seeking channel partners who will help them to achieve these.

“Our suite of solutions can seamlessly be built into any company’s wider IT security strategy, enabling data protection for end users, accelerating partner profitability, and providing our partners a predictable business environment, so we are confident that this will have every success in the channel,” Arlin added.
