TDMaverick has announced the extension of Promethean’s hugely successful Classroom Upgrade campaign until the end of the year.
The previous campaign saw a huge number of boards swapped out for a Promethean ActivBoard 500 Pro – and at least 25 percent of these were schools switching from a competitor board. The rest were happy to upgrade their current Promethean board for the latest ActivBoard 500 model.
The campaign was due to finish at the end of July, but will now run into the new school year, ending on 31 December 2013. Resellers wishing to benefit from the campaign this year can offer schools £300 cash-back, or free in-school training worth £399, when they trade in their old board (Promethean or a competitor board). Resellers get £200 per upgrade, so they profit too. This offer beats any other on the market today by some distance – especially as it can be applied to just a single board, whereas others have a multiple board minimum.
Simon Fagan, Director of Maverick UK and Ireland, said: “The latest ActivBoard 500 Pro is the most flexible pen and touch whiteboard yet and gives students a whole new learning experience. Promethean really are offering a great opportunity for reseller partners with this campaign. We have seen great opportunities arising for the channel from this offer, and with the expansion beyond education and increased cash value for the schools, it is already superseding last year’s campaign success. Extending it until the end of the year was simply the obvious thing to do.”
Alistair Hayward Head of Promethean UK and Ireland, said: “We are very excited about extending the Classroom upgrade campaign, feedback from resellers and end users alike has been exceptional. Supporting whole class learning, the IWB in many cases is still the focal point of the classroom. Despite other technologies now available on the market we are still seeing increasing numbers of schools looking to swap out their old interactive equipment and take advantage of the latest in pen and touch technologies, with the added benefit of a complete support package built around it. “
The Promethean ActivBoard 500 Pro can accommodate up to four learners, allowing more collaboration. Images can be scaled, moved and rotated at the touch of a finger. It also comes with free ActivOffice software, which really brings Microsoft PowerPoint presentations to life.
