The business communications solutions provider, STL Communications, has promoted Peter Allen to Sales Manager. Peter takes on his new role following 9 successful years with the company.
In this new position, Allen will continue with an active sales and key account management function as well as the day to day management of an internal sales team primarily responsible for hardware sales, but also for lines, calls and mobility. He said,” This is an exciting time for STL and we have a number of new products and initiatives that are proving to be very popular, so I am looking forward to this latest challenge.”
Allen has come through the STL graduate training scheme, having started in the business development team before moving on to an internal account management role. He then became an external sales executive and more latterly a senior sales person.
The promotion was part of a reorganisation of the STL sales department, which operates under the guidance of Sales Director, Phil Donigan. Phil commented, “STL spends time and money investing in the development of its employees, so likes to promote from within whenever possible. Peter has proven his capabilities at the highest level and will be a successful Sales Manager.”
