Provista Hits 10th Year of Success

A Scottish firm specialising in delivering networking and communications solutions for businesses is on track to make 2016 its strongest ever year, with sales projected to rise by nearly a third.

Hamilton-based Provista UK, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, has its sights set on future expansion by investing heavily in new staff - up by 28 per cent in the last calendar year.

Now heading towards £7million annual revenue, a significant rise from £5.6million last year, Provista UK can boast a roll call of clients including Baillie Gifford, Wood Mackenzie, Canadian Natural, Scottish Parliament and Greater Glasgow NHS, which rely on its expertise in areas such as Unified Communications, Secure Wireless, IP Security and IP LAN & WAN Networks.

Provista UK Ltd Director, Stuart Little, said: “Ten years ago, a few of us spotted what we believed to be a real opportunity in the market – the need for an independent firm to offer expert consultants, right through to the build, supply and maintenance of technological, network and video solutions.

“Since then it has been a decade of cautious but consistent growth, using profits to expand organically, making sure to retain the culture of our brand.

“With that careful attention and by sticking to our ethos of placing the customer at the heart of operations, we have been able to grow to the scale whereby we can deliver solutions for a client of any size, anywhere in the UK.”

Provista UK, which has 30 staff, including operators situated in locations from Aberdeen to Birmingham, is also focussing further expansion within the North of England – a response to market demand for a more responsive and tailored service than that achievable from large-scale competitors such as BT or Virgin.

Stuart added: “It is a truly exciting time to be part of Provista UK – while we are still the underdogs compared to the household names we truly believe we have an offering that is above and beyond anybody else.

“Our team have extensive experience in security, wireless, data and voice solutions, with particular expertise in unified IP converged environments. Having built on our dynamic team’s experience we are becoming renowned for our excellent ability to provide the best information and solution for any business or organisation.

“In an ever-changing industry we can’t wait for what is certain to be a hugely exciting next ten years.”

In 2015, the business received the accolade of Cisco Scottish Partner of the year, beating major rivals, and was praised by Cisco for its exceptional levels of customer satisfaction and expertise across its services.

Provista UK Ltd is aiming to achieve Cisco Gold Partner status which is the highest possible partner level, which would make the company the only Cisco Gold partner with HQ in Scotland.
