The company says the SARK 500 combines the established feature rich SARK PBX software with the unique PIKA WARP Appliance . This combination allows ProVu to bring to market an extremely cost effective purpose built telephony appliance with a feature set that far exceeds other PBX systems available in this market segment.
The SARK 500 also has the ability to take a mix of the PIKA developed telephony modules which can support conventional analogue, ISDN 2 and even GSM trunks. In addition ProVu has run extensive interoperability tests to ensure the system is compatible with all major brands of SIP handsets and leading SIP trunk providers.

Unlike other IP PBX alternatives, SARK 500 is not a PC, it has no moving parts and uses around 15% of the power of a conventional PC. The Mean Time Between Failure on the board is reported by PIKA at 30.6 years which puts its reliability in the same league as carrier class telecoms equipment.”
