PSU Technology Group have announced its best ever Achilles audit results, following assessment of its management system and support processes for one of EDF Energy’s nuclear facilities, resulting in the renewal of its registration to the Achilles Utilities Vendor Database.
The results, which were issued following a Verify Category B2 Audit, one of Achilles’ most demanding assessments for those working on the operational sites owned by Utility companies, saw PSU record its highest overall scores across areas including health and safety, environment and quality.
As one of the world’s largest and most trusted providers of supplier information, Achilles established the UVDB on behalf of all the major UK utility organisations, to help assist them in sourcing credible, reliable, quality vendors. It also echoes the UK Government’s commitment to promoting procurement best practice and reducing supply chain risks. For a company like PSU, who has been providing hardware support to EDF Energy since 1996, maintaining its registered Achilles supplier status is critical.
Commenting on the company’s success Nigel Davies, Technical Director, PSU Technology Group said: “We are thrilled to have achieved our best ever Achilles audit results and attaining a 100% score for quality. Thanks to our dedicated team, we look forward to many more years providing support to the utilities industry.”
