Cheltenham-based PSU Technology Group is celebrating a quarter of a century in business this month. The company began life as a small PC and server maintenance and repair business in Gloucester, before moving to Cheltenham in 1991.
Spotting that the data and voice industries were rapidly converging during the late nineties, PSU responded accordingly by acquiring a carefully chosen portfolio of telecoms, IT and web businesses, placing the business in a strong position from the outset.
Today, PSU sponsors of Division 2 Cheltenham Town FC and currently employs 43 people at its sites in Cheltenham, Camberley and Lancaster.
As part of the anniversary celebrations, PSU has completely revamped the front of its Cheltenham headquarters, with eye-catching new signage and lighting. Staff are also planning to mark the occasion with an eighties-themed outdoor party this summer.
Managing Director, Michael Lounton, said; “I’m delighted to be celebrating such a fantastic milestone with the PSU team. They’re a great bunch of people whose commitment and dedication has been key to our continued success. Here’s to the next 25 years and beyond.”
