Now Retell has launched an optional rack mount unit for the PRI range. A spokesman for Retell said, ‘The PRI recorder offers resellers the opportunity to mix and match ISDN 30 call recording to suit their customer requirements. It can now be offered with a rack mount unit, a double sized hard drive, a CD-RW drive, encryption cards, live monitoring software and archiving software or any mixture of these’.
The company says their PRI range is different to other call recording solutions in that it offers a choice of three base processor units with hard drive. Each unit has a capacity of between 1 to 16 or 1 to 30 channels. The reseller decides which is the most suitable base unit for his customer and then simply adds the number of channels required. Additional channels can be added at any time using an easy to configure key card and offers resellers more sales and installation opportunities when the customer expands. Customers can purchase base units with only one channel configured in order to get a snapshot of recorded calls at a low entry cost and then expand to full channel capacity as and when required.
