Radio Times has announced its TV and radio listings are available via an application on the Apple App Store. The app will enable iPhone and iPod touch users to browse Radio Times’ extensive listings including seven days worth of TV and radio programme information across 400 channels and stations.
Radio Times publishing director, Kathy Day, stated: “We are really proud of this application for iPhone and iPod touch as it’s a great mobile extension of the Radio Times brand and provides an excellent user experience. Consumers not only want to watch TV and listen to radio on the move, but they also want to know what is available to them, at any time.”
The application, designed by US company, tvCompass, marks the latest in a series of initiatives from Radio Times’ owner, BBC Worldwide, to bring its content to iPhone and iPod users.
The application is available in the UK for £1.79 from Apple’s App Store on iPhone and iPod touch or from the Radio Times website.
