Rainbow Expands With £1m Investment

Rainbow, an Northern Ireland independent telecom provider, is investing an additional £1 million this year in its latest phase of expansion. Rainbow is planning to add a further 10 qualified personnel to its customer service and engineering teams during the next 12 months.

Expanding the customer support network will leverage Rainbow’s presence in the region and help increase the performance and connectivity of its clients across Northern Ireland and further afield.

The company will also invest in a range of new cloud-based products during the next two years, enabling local SMEs to compete on a global scale.

Founded in 1998 by Eric Carson and Martin Hamill, the company has a turnover in excess of £13m. The new programme of investment for the successful, family-owned company, is in response to a steady increase in demand among its private, corporate and third sector customers.

Stuart Carson, Sales Director at Rainbow Communications, said “This is a hugely exciting time for us as we maintain and push the growth we have been experiencing over the last number of years. This £1m is in addition to the annual £5m we invest in providing locally based customer care and support.

“As an independent company, we only invest in the technologies that will benefit our customers and we are committed to sourcing the best suppliers and support to ensure the best user experience.
