ramsac wins Toast of Surrey business award

ramsac, an IT solutions consultancy based in Godalming, has won the Toast of Surrey Awards 2011 category for ‘Companies with a turnover of up to £5m’

Managing Director and Co-Founder, Robert May, was honoured to receive the award on behalf of the company at a glittering awards evening held at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford, on Friday 25th February 2011. The award was given in recognition of ramsac’s continued growth, support and contribution to the economy, local community and prosperity of Surrey.

In the past year ramsac has continued to grow, with a 21% increase in profits on the previous year, 29 new contracted customers and an expanded team. It has launched an innovative new IT mentoring service and new 24/7 IT support. ramsac has demonstrated its commitment to employees by signing up to the UK Skills Pledge and took on two new IT Apprentices in 2010. The company has also supported the sharing of business knowledge, hosting local business seminar events throughout the year and has been active in the wider community raising money for CHASE Children’s Hospice and sponsoring Guildford Heat Basketball Club.

ramsac is a former winner of the Surrey Business Award for ‘SME Business of the Year’ and has also been ranked as one of the top 100 managed IT source providers in the world by MSPmentor.
