Red Box Opens City Base

Red Box Recorders has opened a new office at 9 Devonshire Square in the City of London to help meet increasing demand from financial services companies for voice and call recording solutions. The company says it has seen considerable growth in business opportunities within the sector, so has taken the decision to invest in a conveniently located office to provide even greater levels of service and support to city-based organisations.

This current focus on recording within financial services sector is being driven by the extended FSA regulation that came into force in November last year to include mobile calls as part of the telephone and electronic communications recording requirement. As a result, a growing number of high-profile financial services companies have teamed up with Red Box in recent months to ensure that UK-based employees are operating in a compliant manner.

Elsewhere, one of the world’s largest inter-dealer brokers has further extended the provision of call recording solutions with Red Box Recorders to now include over 3000 channels across its operations in London, Sydney and Spain.

Lee Jones, COO at Red Box Recorders commented: “We are becoming the partner of choice with a growing number of financial services companies, so it made sense to open a dedicated office in the City of London to ensure we are best-placed to meet their recording needs. FSA compliance has become increasingly complicated with the new mobile recording requirements and we are finding that affected organisations are looking for a company that can provide the necessary advice and guidance.”
