Redsquid Targets Fixed Line Resellers

Accredited Vodafone One Net specialist and Vodafone Platinum Partner Redsquid Communications is extending its reach into the data VAR channel with the newly appointed Channel Manager Ryan Neal driving this forward. Ryan’s aim is to help IT and Fixed line resellers benefit from additional revenues from their existing customer base.

Neale commented, "Historically resellers have had two options for mobile airtime - 1) via an airtime distributor, which is very much a lonely “Get on with it” option, or 2) refer the business to a reseller and lose 75% of the profit.

Redsquid’s reseller channel has been developed to combine the best of both options. Working with Vodafone we have managed to build a channel where non-traditional resellers can refer the business to us, whilst retaining full upfront commissions. With the convergence of IT and Telecoms, this is the perfect opportunity for IT resellers to offer their customers something unique to the market, such as Vodafone One Net and One Net Express, this area is where the Mobile networks see the revenue growth, especially within Vodafone, so as a Platinum Partner we can offer our partners the best solutions and support.

Borehamwood-based Redsquid has secured Vodafone Platinum Partner status for the second time in a row, and during the last 12 months the company's headcount has grown by five with further plans to boost staff numbers by five more this year. Redsquid have also appointed a One Net Specialist to work with new and existing customers to manage this exciting opportunity into Unified growth.

Neale added, "Redsquid's growth plans over the next 12 months is to double in size, either by recruitment or by acquisition, we have recently purchased a small dealer in Oxfordshire, so would like to continue down this route by acquiring other dealers. Since I joined, we have already attracted a number of IT resellers to partner with, I am looking to work with 30 partners initially. We may well then look at recruiting another Channel Manager enabling us to double our partner numbers."
