Redstone go top of the Class

Redstone’s Managed Solutions division has been awarded a three year contract with exam boards from England, Wales and N.Ireland expected to generate revenues in the region of £1 million per annum.

Redstone's in-house developed WebXchange, a web-based file transfer system has been selected by a group of leading UK examination boards for the secure transfer of examination results.

Redstone say the simplicity of the WebXchange system means that it is easily and efficiently incorporated into an education establishment's existing processes. In order to operate the system, all that is required is an internet connection and a standard web browser, along with a user ID for the service. Currently it is the only product of its kind that does not require an installation of software and runs solely through a web portal.

Martin Balaam, Chief Executive of Redstone commented, "It is very satisfying that having worked with the examination boards to provide an online secure file transfer system, we have demonstrated that Redstone can provide the level of reliability and security that is demanded for the fast transfer of highly sensitive data.

"This contract represents a key area for Redstone - that of public projects as well as those in the B2B arena - and this is part of our continued effort to grow revenues from our business conducted with the public sector."
