Redstone Mobile re-brands back to Anglia Telecom Centres

Following the acquisition by Daisy Group Plc, Redstone Mobile has taken the decision to re-brand to its former name, Anglia Telecom Centres, as of 28 September 2009.

Anglia Telecom Centres was originally formed in 1984 and through its success as a cellular dealer, became one of the first distributors of BT Mobile in 1988.

Since then it has become a major player within the distribution market, holding agreements with all five UK networks.

Following its acquisition by Redstone in June 2006, Anglia Telecom Centres rebranded to Redstone Mobile in 2007. This business consisted of both distribution and service provision.

After two years under the Redstone brand, and in light of the Daisy acquisition, the decision has been taken to bring back the Anglia Telecom brand for the distribution side of the business. The service provision sector of the business will be re-branded Daisy.

Commenting on the re-brand, Dave McGinn, managing director, said: “It was an easy decision for us. Anglia Telecom was, and still is, a strong brand name within the mobile arena with some of our advertising campaigns still remembered, even from people outside the industry.

“Anglia is all about the people, both those who work within our organisation, our business partners, and the relationship we have with the networks. The success of our relationships with the networks comes as a direct result of our relationships with our business partners, ensuring our business direction is one which benefits us all.”

The core element of Anglia Telecom will not change. Staff will continue to provide business partners with the same level of knowledge and support, the sales and marketing teams continuing to look at ways in which to help their partners move their businesses forward by tailoring incentives and campaigns, and they will still be hosting their newly formed deal clinics.

The logo has been developed to coincide with the new image of Anglia Telecom and the products and services they wish to promote.
